DISCOVER: Titus Makin and his latest single 'Ropes'
Titus Makin is a pop artist, songwriter, and actor from Sierra Vista, Arizona. You may already recognise this talented star from his time on Glee and his Glee: Live tour engagements. Or maybe you know him from shows such as Star-Crossed, Pretty Little Liars, Grey’s Anatomy, or The Path? Whether you’re already familiar with Titus or not, he is soon to be on your radar thanks to his infectious music.
Having relocated to Los Angeles after graduating from the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts, Titus has been able to take his acting and musical career to the next level. Citing Lenny Kravitz, Pharrell Williams, Cee-Lo Green and Adam Levine as musical inspirations, Titus has worked with the likes of Jake Scott, Aaron Kellim and David Hodges to create his unique blend of pop/soul music.
His latest offering is the uptempo ‘Ropes’, which carries an important message despite its fun vibe. Speaking about the track, Titus said: “‘Ropes’ is about the constant war we have with ourselves every single day! When we want to do good but evil is always present with us. The inward battle of trying to rid yourself of old harmful habits and cling to the healthy. Keeping your connection to God & not turning away trying to fulfill your own selfish desires.”
