Joe Biden Tells President Donald Trump To Be Quiet And Let The Health Experts Speak And Handle The C
In the early hours of Monday morning, while the stock market was crashing due to the sinking price of oil and the spread of the coronavirus, President Donald Trump was busy on Twitter writing misleading tweets, and former Vice President Joe Biden has decided to answer.
Trump fired this first tweet that read: “So last year 37,000 Americans died from the common Flu. It averages between 27,000 and 70,000 per year. Nothing is shut down, life & the economy go on. At this moment, there are 546 confirmed cases of CoronaVirus, with 22 deaths. Think about that!”
POTUS bragged in a tweet: “Great job being done by the @VP and the CoronaVirus Task Force. Thank you!”
He posted this message a few minutes later: “Saudi Arabia and Russia are arguing over the price and flow of oil. That, and the Fake News, is the reason for the market drop!”
Trump then claimed: “The Fake News Media and their partner, the Democrat Party, is doing everything within its semi-considerable power (it used to be greater!) to inflame the CoronaVirus situation, far beyond what the facts would warrant. Surgeon General, “The risk is low to the average American.”
He also tweeted this after stocks plunged: “Good for the consumer, gasoline prices coming down!”
Biden did an interview on Monday MSNBC’s Last Word with Lawrence O’Donnell, where he said out loud what many are thinking on the low — Trump needs to stop talking and creating chaos and let the health experts share scientific facts and data on the coronavirus outbreak.
Biden stated: “I wish he would just be quiet; I really mean it. That’s an awful thing to say about a president, but be quiet, just let the experts speak and acknowledge whatever they suggest to him is what we should be doing,” Biden said in an interview on MSNBC’s “Last Word.”

O’Donnell also asked Biden to share his thoughts on the stock market’s reaction to Trump’s chaotic response to the outbreak.
Biden explained: “But it wouldn’t collapse, I don’t think. Now, who can say? But I think there’s no confidence in the president in anything he says or does. He turns everything into what he thinks is a political benefit for himself, and he’s actually imploding in the process. But here’s a lot of innocent bystanders being badly hurt.”
